I dream in the night,
I dream in the light,
Of her eyes like shining pearls,
Of her guise like a divine mural
I think of her, I breathe of her,
Asking the lord, ‘why did she happen to me?’
Then I sit watching into the eternity, waiting for an answer to be
Is she the one? Or is it just another pun?
Either way am turning to stone,
Deep inside, to my very last bone
Am confused, It all gets chaotic,
I try to be stupid and idiotic,
Plan to get miles away from her,
That little smile from her
It all goes away,
Am lost in a place called lovers bay
I dream in the night, I dream in the light
Of her lips all around like a rose
Of her hair like the strings of a muse
In her thoughts I wish to be
Which I have to earn indeed
From the heart a deep feeling
Formed words that I sing
‘Oh my!’ said she with a sparkle
I blushed making a narkle
And so I dreamt, and so I dreamt
In the light
And In the night
To wake up to the truth
I am all alone in a ruth
She is all I care,
Who would I rather bear?
Why should I care if I dont get it back from her,
Its only love that I have for her. – Ram Charran
